Cristiano Ronaldo helps IShowSpeed learn the Viking clap while celebrating Al Nassr’s 5-1 victory in Riyadh

Even after decades on the pitch, Cristiano Ronaldo continues to surprise fans — not just with his goals, but now with his sense of rhythm.

During Al-Nassr’s thrilling 5–1 win over Al-Fateh, the football legend traded his boots for an impromptu music lesson, helping his biggest fan, YouTuber IShowSpeed, master the art of the Viking clap.

A Star Meets His Idol in Saudi Arabia

Ronaldo, who remains one of the most recognizable faces in football, noticed the excitable streamer in the crowd and decided to give him a quick tutorial.

IShowSpeed — whose real name is Darren Watkins Jr. — was among thousands of Al-Nassr supporters celebrating their team’s emphatic victory in Riyadh.

Speed, who has built an enormous 45 million-strong following largely thanks to his over-the-top admiration for Ronaldo, got to watch his idol in full form once again.

The 40-year-old superstar found the back of the net, pushing closer to his dream milestone of 1,000 career goals, while teammates Kingsley Coman and Joao Felix added their own flair, with Felix even netting a hat-trick.

Ronaldo Steps In To Help Speed Find His Rhythm

As the final whistle blew, fans began their famous Viking clap — a tradition that sees the crowd and players chant and clap in perfect unison.

Wanting to join in, Speed grabbed the imaginary drummer’s role but quickly realized he had no clue how to lead the chant.

Enter Ronaldo. The Portuguese icon came to the edge of the pitch, mimed the drumbeat, and motioned for Speed to follow along.

With Ronaldo’s guidance, the 20-year-old picked it up fast, banging along dramatically for the cameras as the crowd cheered.

It was a lighthearted, heartwarming moment between a football idol and his devoted fan.

From Fanboy Moments to Full-On Meltdowns

This isn’t the first time Speed has shown just how deep his admiration for Ronaldo runs.

In June 2023, he finally met the player who had defined so much of his content.

After Portugal’s win against Bosnia & Herzegovina, Speed fell to his knees beside Ronaldo’s car, shouting, “Oh my God, I love you!”

The two recreated Ronaldo’s iconic “Siuuu” celebration together, hugged, and took a selfie — all while security guards looked on, unsure of what to make of the emotional scene.

The Tears, the Passion, and the Viral Moments

Speed’s devotion hasn’t always been cheerful, though.

During Portugal’s heartbreaking exit from Euro 2024, the streamer broke down in tears live on camera.

Dressed in a Portugal shirt and watching anxiously, he began sobbing after Theo Hernandez’s winning penalty sent France through.

In his anguish, he even appeared to cut his hand on a glass and mourned what he believed was Ronaldo’s last match.

“He ain’t ever coming back,” he told his viewers through tears. “That’s it. He’s about to retire.”

Later, he shared a heartfelt message on Instagram: “It can’t be only me feeling like this.

Knowing this is his last game with Portugal makes me feel dead inside. I’ll forever support this man.”

Ronaldo Proves He’s Still Going Strong

But Ronaldo, ever the competitor, wasn’t finished. Contrary to Speed’s fears, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner continues to shine for Portugal under manager Roberto Martínez.

Most recently, he silenced any talk of retirement by scoring twice against Hungary during the international break.

And while Ronaldo’s leadership and goal-scoring continue to inspire millions around the world, it’s safe to say that no one celebrates his success quite like IShowSpeed — who can now proudly say he learned his first “music lesson” from CR7 himself.
