Residents in various areas of Thiruvanmiyur and Perungudi, including Kamarajar Nagar, Ranganathapuram, Periyar Nagar, Valluvar Nagar, Uthandi, Neelangarai, and surrounding neighborhoods, will face scheduled power outages. The Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) has announced that the power supply will be temporarily suspended from 9 am to 2 pm to facilitate unspecified works.
Thiruvanmiyur to Face Power Suspension
The affected areas in Thiruvanmiyur include Kamarajar Nagar 1st to 3rd West Street, Western Avenue, and Kamarajar Nagar 1st Main Road. The residents have been advised to take necessary precautions and plan their day accordingly.
Perungudi Also on the List
In Perungudi, areas like Uthandi, Neelangarai, Vaithiyalingam 1st to 3rd Cross Street, New Ganesh 1st to 5th Street, Rajendran Nagar 1st to 10th Street, Kathiravan Road, the vicinity of Narayana School, the ECR Police Station, and other nearby regions will also experience the power cut. Residents have been urged to make necessary arrangements ahead of the power cut.
Restoration of Power
The electricity is expected to be restored before 2 pm, provided the works are completed as planned. TANGEDCO has assured residents that power supply will be restored sooner if the maintenance work concludes before the scheduled time.
