The tranquil town of McDonough, Georgia was disrupted on January 22 as the Henry County Police Department recorded a bold theft at a local Bath & Body Works store. The suspects, who remain unidentified, were caught on surveillance cameras executing their audacious heist, where they managed to pilfer 42 candles valued at over $1,100.

Caught in the Act

According to the released information, the suspects were recorded placing the candles into their tote bags and subsequently vacating the store without offering any payment. The theft, which occurred at the Bath & Body Works store located on Jonesboro Road, has sparked a regional search for the culprits.

Last Seen Leaving in a KIA Sedan

The suspects’ escape vehicle was identified as a black, older model KIA Sedan. The vehicle was last spotted departing the store’s parking lot, disappearing into the traffic of the surrounding area. The information regarding the suspects and their vehicle has been released in an effort to solicit public assistance in identifying and locating them.
