Sudden Demise of Lokoja Local Government Chairman
Muhammed Danasabe Muhammed, the Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Council in Kogi State, has tragically passed away.
The news of his demise was confirmed around 4.30 am at a hospital in Lokoja, the state capital. Muhammed was reportedly rushed to the hospital after collapsing at his residence.
Active Participation in Political Meetings
Muhammed was actively involved in a series of political meetings in preparation for the upcoming governorship election in Kogi State, scheduled for Saturday.
The sudden and untimely death of the Council Chairman has shocked the community, leaving many in mourning.
Medical Response and Confirmation of Death
After collapsing at home, Muhammed was swiftly taken to Shifa Hospital in Lokoja. Unfortunately, doctors confirmed him clinically dead around 4.30 am on Friday.
The exact cause of his sudden demise is yet to be disclosed.
Funeral Arrangements and Condolences
Muhammed Danasabe Muhammed, who hails from ward B in the cantonment area of Lokoja, will be laid to rest at the Unguwan Kura Muslim cemetery following the Juma’at prayer on Friday.
Sympathizers have been visiting his family house to offer condolences to his grieving family. He is survived by his mother, wife, and children.
