Biden Campaign Rejects Trump’s Pre-Debate Drug Test Request, Calls it a Silly Tactic to Distract Voters

Hey there! It’s just one day before Donald Trump and Joe Biden face off in their first debate of the 2024 election season.

This could be a game-changer for both campaigns.

But things are already heating up with some pre-debate drama.

So, here’s a fun tidbit: Trump has thrown out a rather unusual request.

He wants both him and Biden to take a drug test before the debate.

Biden’s team? Not having it.

Adrienne Elrod, a spokesperson for Biden, had a few things to say when she was on CNN.

She pretty much brushed it off, saying, “I mean, I don’t even really know what to say about that.”

Elrod, who worked on Hillary Clinton’s campaign back in the day, pointed out that Trump pulled a similar stunt then, too.

She added, “President Biden defeated Donald Trump twice in previous debates.

This is what he does because he doesn’t have anything else to run on.

” Ouch!

Meanwhile, Trump has been busy on Truth Social, taking jabs at Biden.

He’s been calling Biden a “walking LYING MACHINE” and criticizing him for wanting fact-checkers at the debate.

Trump’s post was filled with all kinds of accusations, from Biden lying about his college achievements to making up stories about his golf skills.

Kinzinger’s Surprise Endorsement

In a surprising turn, former Republican Rep. Adam Kinzinger has thrown his support behind Biden and Harris.

Despite being a “proud conservative,” Kinzinger said he’s backing the Democrats because of his strong belief in democracy.

This endorsement came just a day before the debate, adding another twist to the pre-debate buzz.

A Busy Day in Politics

On top of all this, Biden has pardoned thousands of veterans convicted under military laws against gay sex, and Lauren Boebert has clinched her primary in Colorado.

Plus, the first member of “The Squad” has been ousted from Congress in New York.
