A Stormy Weather Report:
BBC Breakfast’s Jon Kay had a playful outburst during Tuesday’s broadcast as he and co-host Sally Nugent shared top headlines with viewers.
The TV duo was joined by meteorologist Carol Kirkwood, who had some unwelcome news about the weather on the horizon.
Storm Babet Approaches:
Carol warned viewers, “It’s the calm before the storm because we quite literally have a storm coming our way.”
he revealed that Storm Babet is set to hit the UK, bringing windy conditions and severe gales to certain areas. Additionally, Carol confessed that torrential rain is expected, leading to potential disruptions in Scotland due to heavy rainfall.
Unfortunately, there’s no relief in sight, as thundery showers are expected to persist through Thursday.
Jon’s Playful Outburst:
As Carol concluded her weather report, Jon Kay couldn’t hide his dismay, exclaiming, “More to come? Oh dear me.” In a playful manner, he added, “Carol, thank you… for nothing.”
Sally Nugent chimed in, defending her colleague, saying, “It’s not actually her fault, Jon.” But Jon, with a hint of humor, insisted, “I know it’s not her fault, but we need to blame somebody.”
Live TV Fun:
The banter continued, with the Scottish-born star, Carol, audibly giggling in the background.
The exchange added a touch of lightheartedness to the live TV segment.
