A surprise behind-the-scenes documentary about the Sex andThe City reboot And Just Like That will premiere tonight (3 February) after the final episode of the new show on HBO Max.
‘AND JUST LIKE THAT’ DOCUMENTARY
The creators of And Just Like That have unveiled a special treat for fans in the form of a behind-the-scenes documentary. The documentary will debut on HBO Max today (3 February) following the final episode of the show.
HBO Max’s YouTube page released a one minute 42 second long trailer which shows the cast and crew of the show giving fans a behind-the-scenes look. The reboot of Sex and The City, featured main cast members Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis but Kim Canttrall did not return.
This was reportedly because of a falling out with fellow Sex and The City star Sarah. Nicole Ari Parker replaced Kim as the fourth member of the New York friend group. She becomes Sarah’s new on-screen best friend.
The reboot premiered on HBO Max in December 2021 picking up with the same characters 20 years later. The show was also broadcasted on M-Net for South African viewers.
“The new chapter of the ground-breaking HBO series Sex and the City — follows Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis). They navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s — to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s,” reads the synopsis of the series.
