Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have shown that their relationship remains firmly intact nearly four years after their romance became one of the biggest controversies in American morning television.
The former GMA3 co-hosts were spotted together at Newark Liberty International Airport on Friday, where they relaxed at a coffee shop before boarding a flight. Robach’s engagement ring was clearly visible during the outing, providing another reminder that the couple are preparing for marriage.
Robach and Holmes Keep Airport Appearance Casual
The engaged couple opted for an understated appearance while traveling, sitting alongside one another at an airport café with their luggage nearby.
Holmes, 49, wore a dark long-sleeved top and trousers, while 53-year-old Robach chose a relaxed travel outfit and wore her blonde hair loose. They also appeared to be traveling with matching Away carry-on luggage.
One detail, however, was considerably more eye-catching. Robach wore her sparkling engagement ring prominently on her left hand while sitting beside Holmes.
A witness who recognized the pair said they appeared happy and enthusiastic about their journey. The couple were seen chatting over drinks as they waited for their flight, although their destination was not disclosed.
Romantic Summer Includes Montreal and US Open Outings
The airport sighting follows a series of public appearances by Robach and Holmes throughout the summer.
On August 25, the couple attended the US Open in New York, where they took their podcast on the road for a live appearance.
Shortly before that, Robach organized a trip to Montreal to celebrate Holmes’s 49th birthday. She later shared photographs from the getaway on social media and described it as a “fabulous quick trip.”
Their summer activities also included a July visit to East Hampton, where the pair posted affectionate photographs together.
Couple Have Already Chosen Their Wedding Date
The outings come as Holmes and Robach move closer to marriage following a relationship that dramatically altered both of their television careers.
They announced their engagement in October after approximately three years together. In May, the couple disclosed that they had selected a wedding date but declined to reveal when or exactly how the ceremony would take place.
Holmes suggested during an appearance on Giuliana Rancic’s podcast that the couple had chosen a particularly meaningful way to marry but wanted to keep those plans private for the time being.
He nevertheless made clear that they had not secretly married and suggested they would be more open about the milestone after the wedding takes place.
Yellow Sapphire Engagement Ring Takes Center Stage
Robach’s engagement ring has become one of the most recognizable symbols of the couple’s next chapter.
Holmes proposed with a large yellow sapphire surrounded by smaller diamonds and mounted on a white-gold band.

Robach recalled wearing it proudly during visits to three major football stadiums over consecutive weekends and expecting someone to notice it. According to the former television anchor, nobody questioned her about the jewelry.
