This year’s Royal Variety Performance promises to be an unforgettable evening, with ITV unveiling two fan-favorite TV personalities as the hosts.
The event, which raises funds for various charitable causes, will return to the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London.
It will feature an incredible lineup of performances, including a special appearance by this year’s Britain’s Got Talent winner, all in front of King Charles and Queen Camilla.
Amanda Holden and Alan Carr Take the Stage
Fans are in for a treat as Amanda Holden and Alan Carr will team up once again to present the star-studded event.
The duo has charmed audiences with their hilarious chemistry in their two documentary series, Amanda and Alan’s Spanish Job and Amanda & Alan’s Italian Job.
The latter has even been renewed for a third season, showing just how much viewers love their dynamic.
Alan Carr expressed his excitement, saying, “I am completely thrilled to be asked back to host the Royal Variety Performance so soon.
It’s such an honour, and to do it with my best friend Amanda is the icing on the cake.
If it’s half as fun as three years ago, we’re all in for a real treat!”
Amanda Holden echoed the sentiment, saying, “It’s such an honour to host the Royal Variety Performance this year.
Alan is a true friend, and we’re already bursting with ideas. It’s going to be such a fun night!”
Performances You Won’t Want to Miss
The Royal Variety Performance will feature an eclectic mix of performers.
Britain’s Got Talent winner Sydnie Christmas will deliver an award-winning performance, joined by Dave Arch and The Royal Variety Orchestra.
Meanwhile, Elton John and David Furnish will perform a number from their new musical, The Devil Wears Prada, alongside Vanessa Williams and the rest of the cast.
Other exciting performances include an exclusive medley from Oliver! and a showstopping segment from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Starlight Express.
Eurovision winner Nemo, treble Brit Award winner James Bay, and disco legend Sophie Ellis-Bextor will also take to the stage.
Magic, Dance, and Comedy
Fans of magic will be thrilled to see world-class duo Penn and Teller fly in from America, while presenter and magician Stephen Mulhern will dazzle the Royals with his tricks and illusions.
Cirque Du Soleil will perform a world exclusive from their Las Vegas show Ovo, and the English National Ballet will bring a magical rendition of Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy from The Nutcracker.
Comedians Ellie Taylor, Matt Forde, Scott Bennett, and Larry Dean will bring humor to the evening, providing a witty roundup of the year’s events.
Lorraine Kelly will also make a special appearance with her Change and Check Choir, featuring women who detected breast cancer through her campaign.
Led by Marti Pellow, the choir will perform Love Is All Around.
A Sneak Peek at the West End’s Latest Hit
The team behind the hit show The Play That Goes Wrong will offer a hilarious sneak peek of their upcoming production, The Comedy About Spies, set to hit the West End next year.
And American actress and singer Marisha Wallace will deliver a show-stopping number, before leading this year’s National Anthem, accompanied by the Fanfare Trumpeters of the Band of the Welsh Guards.
It’s shaping up to be a night of laughter, music, and unforgettable performances – all for a good cause!
