U2 have added two further London performances to their Greatest Show on Earth Tour, bringing their UK concert schedule to four shows in June 2027.
The newly announced dates are Tuesday, June 22, and Friday, June 25, at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The additional performances follow strong demand for the band’s return to the UK.
The concerts will mark U2’s first UK performances in nine years and form part of the promotion for their forthcoming 16th studio album, Carnaval De Luz.
VIP Packages Advertised From £729.75
Hospitality and VIP tickets for the two newly added concerts are already being advertised through the official ticketing platform Seat Unique, with prices starting at £729.75.
General ticket sales for the tour’s London dates are scheduled to begin at 10am on Friday, November 6.
Fans can also pay approximately £300 more for a premium experience that allows them to avoid the standard Ticketmaster queue. The package includes access to designated premium bar areas before and after the performance, as well as a premium padded seat.
Fans Express Anger Over High Ticket Prices
The announcement of additional dates has been accompanied by complaints from some U2 supporters about the cost of attending the concerts.
One longtime fan, who said they had followed the band since 1980, revealed that ticket prices had made it impossible for them to attend this tour for the first time.
“I’ve been going to U2 gigs since 1980. This is the first tour I’ve not been able to because of the ticket price,” the fan wrote on X.
“It’s a sad day, my pension just can’t pay these kinds of prices. Good luck to those who can, but I won’t be there.”
Another supporter said the cheapest ticket offered to them through Ticketmaster was £400 for a standing position, describing the price as “an absolute disgrace”.
The additional performances are expected to provide more opportunities for fans seeking tickets, although concerns over affordability remain.
New Album Marks U2’s First Release in Nine Years
The London concerts will coincide with the release of U2’s new album, Carnaval De Luz, scheduled for Friday, November 13.
The record will be the Irish band’s 16th studio album and their first collection of new music in nine years.
It will contain 12 new songs, with the 2027 tour providing an opportunity for the group to perform material from the release alongside their established catalogue.
Four Concerts Scheduled for June 2027
With the two additional dates confirmed, U2 will now perform four times at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium during June 2027.
The shows will represent the band’s return to British stages after a nine-year absence, with tickets available through the general sale beginning on November 6.
