At the Ukrainian border, two people are said to have died of frostbite. Since the dispute with Russia began on Tuesday last week, Ukrainians and foreigners have attempted to evacuate Ukraine for safety in neighboring countries such as Poland, Romania, Hungary, and others.

The border guards, however, are said to have thwarted their efforts.

@vukiledlamini19, a Twitter user, posted a video of snow falling on people at the border.

‘I am heartbroken and can confirm that two persons died trying to cross the border between last night and today due to the cold,’ she added.

There are people stuck at the border who are freezing and they are stuck! Many of them are friends.

This has to be a nightmare! This cannot be real”
