The Cast of Time Season 2: Ramsey, Lawrance, and Whittaker
In an image released from the upcoming season of the award-winning drama Time, stars Ramsey, Lawrance, and Whittaker are seen in grey tracksuits and white t-shirts, portraying prisoners confined within Carlingford Prison for women.
Ramsey’s character, Kelsey, joins the prison on the same day as Lawrance’s character Abi, and Whittaker takes on the role of Orla in this three-part series.
Additional Cast and Production Details
The show will also feature Sophie Willan, a Bafta award-winner known for her roles in Alma’s Not Normal and Still Open All Hours.
Julie Graham, Alicia Forde, Lisa Millett, Faye McKeever, Kayla Meikle, Nicholas Nunn, Maimuna Memon, and James Corrigan are also joining the cast for season two.
The drama, written by Jimmy McGovern and produced by BBC Studios, received support from the Liverpool Film Office through its Liverpool City Region Production Fund.
Notable Careers and Past Roles
Ramsey gained prominence for her role in Game of Thrones and has appeared in The Last Of Us, His Dark Materials, and Catherine Called Birdy.
Whittaker, known for her role as Doctor Who since 2017, made headlines when it was announced that she would be succeeded by Sex Education star Ncuti Gatwa.
Lawrance, who appeared alongside Letitia Wright in the 2022 film The Silent Twins, was also cast as Viola in the National Theatre’s 2017 production of Twelfth Night.
