The emergence of the Mandie Reusch Video has left the entire community disheartened. Kevin Metzger, a 37-year-old army veteran, tragically took his own life on June 18, 2021, following relentless cyberbullying by his former girlfriend, Mandie Reusch.

District Attorney Nicole Ziccarelli described the explicit and graphic messages sent by Mandie Reusch as heinous.
These messages had a significant impact on Kevin Metzger’s decision to end his life.

Reusch repeatedly denigrated him, used offensive language, made threats about custody of their daughter, and shockingly, even encouraged him to commit suicide.
Escalating Harassment and Psychological Damage
The harmful exchange of messages between Reusch and Metzger began on May 5, 2021, while Metzger was away for training.
Reusch cruelly stated that he would never see their daughter again and revealed her plan to move in with another man.
The harassment intensified, with the suspect increasing the frequency and cruelty of the texts.
One message even mentioned engaging in sexual activity with her new partner on Mother’s Day and encouraging their daughter to refer to the new companion as “dad.”
The Widespread Outrage and Legal Consequences
The Mandie Reusch Video, depicting her involvement with another woman, quickly spread across social media platforms, drawing widespread attention and outrage.

In the aftermath of Metzger’s suicide, Reusch now faces charges of aiding suicide and harassment.
She was taken into custody and is currently awaiting a preliminary hearing on June 27, 2023.
