The Anambra State Head of Service, Barr. Harry Udu has congratulated Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo for emerging the winner of the just concluded gubernatorial election in the state noting that the result was a true reflection of the will of the people.
Barr. Udu who was speaking in an interview at Amawbia described the incoming governor who contested under the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) as outstanding person and a technocrat who has proven to be a problem solver and solution provider.
The civil service boss further noted that Soludo’s emergence as governor would bring in good tidings and better days as he had promised to build on the good legacy of the present administration.
The Civil Service boss praised the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) for refusing to cut corners and ensuring that the election remained free and fair.
Udu seized the opportunity to remind civil servants that their core duty was to serve with all diligence the administration which assumes office most especially, that of a person like the incoming governor who had promised to make civil servants his utmost priority.
In furtherance he condemned the action of civil servants who became overtly politically engaged during the electioneering periods while reminding them that such is unacceptable in the civil service rules.
