Seven Arrested as Just Stop Oil Disrupts London Pride March Over Fossil Fuel Sponsorship

Seven individuals have been apprehended following a disruptive protest by Just Stop Oil during the London Pride march.

Their demonstration was aimed at opposing new fossil fuel projects in the UK.

Earlier in the week, the group had issued a threat to protest at the event due to London Pride’s sponsorship by United Airlines.

Acting on their threat, LGBTQ+ supporters of Just Stop Oil obstructed the Pride parade by sitting in front of the Coca-Cola float.

Simultaneously, two other activists spray-painted the road with pink and black paint.
