This revelation comes after the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) admitted a transcript from Chicago State University as evidence, which raised questions about Tinubu’s educational status.
Allegations and Evidence:
The transcript from Chicago State University, presented by the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, and his party, aimed to challenge Tinubu’s victory in the February 25 presidential election.
The document, along with others, alleged that Tinubu’s educational records were misrepresented, with the transcript showing Tinubu identified as a female student at South West College.
Reno Omokri’s Response:
Reno Omokri, a staunch supporter of the PDP, countered the allegations against Tinubu by affirming that Tinubu did attend and graduate from Chicago State University.
Omokri explained that he personally visited the university to expose the President, but instead, he received confirmation that Tinubu was indeed an alumnus of the institution.

Through an Instagram post, Omokri shared that he physically visited Chicago State University, conducted a video broadcast from the campus, and met with university officials.
According to Omokri, Tinubu’s attendance and graduation from the university were verified, and there is even a photo of him displayed in the alumni office as one of their accomplished alumni.
Omokri further emphasized that he obtained a written letter from the university registry, validating the information provided.
Call for Fairness and Honesty:
While expressing his support for Atiku Abubakar’s legal challenge against Tinubu, Omokri urged fairness, honesty, and transparency in opposing Tinubu.
He cautioned against spreading false information, asserting that attacking Tinubu based on lies would not yield the desired outcome and may even strengthen his position.
