Rasta paints three Riky Rick portraits – but do any of them look like him?

Rasta has surprised South Africans with not one, but three portraits of the late rapper Riky Rick

The artist – notorious for his dodgy drawings of high profile stars – made the revelation on his Twitter page.

But as chuffed as he appeared with his artwork, tweeps were not convinced at any of them.

In all three pics posted on his Twitter account, Rasta appeared to be standing outside in the streets of Johannesburg.

He captioned the post: “Legends never die, we multiply. Rest brada you made us proud. A fashion guru, a producer, a musician and a motivational speaker, stay shining”.

Rasta;s revelation comes days after tweeps mistook a portrait he did of soapie actor Dingaan Khumalo for Riky Rick.

Dingaan was not impressed with tweeps and “chastised them for making a mockery both out of Riky Rick’s death and Rasta’s art.

He set the record straight in a heated Instagram video: “The portrait that Rasta made, he made it for me last December when I released my album. He did not make the picture for Riky. The audacity that you people have of taking that picture and making it a mockery out of it.

“Why would you take Riky’s death and make a mockery out of it?”.

Whilst Rasta confirmed these portraits were that of Riky Rick, tweeps did not see the likeness.

In fact, the pics were likened to other celebrities like Idris Elba, Omari Hardwick, Teddy Pendergrass and even Sizwe Dhlomo/

“These are 3 different people and none of them look like the Riky.

“How will Riky Rick rest in peace when you are doing this to him? That drawing looks depressed”

“My guy…why is it that when you paint white people it’s proper stuff…professional…when you paint abodarkie it’s as if you are practicing or something. You don’t take us serious”
