The incident occurred in Tredegar, where a 17-year-old boy and a 48-year-old woman were struck by a motorbike.
Both victims are currently receiving medical treatment for their injuries.
Seeking Assistance in Tracing the Rider
Authorities are now seeking to locate the rider of the dark motorbike, which reportedly featured yellow and orange details.
The motorcyclist fled the scene following the collision, prompting a search by officers to identify and apprehend the individual responsible.
In order to aid their investigation, the police are appealing to any motorists who were traveling on the road between Tredegar and Abertysswg during the timeframe of 3pm to 4pm on Thursday (May 25).
Additionally, individuals in possession of dashcam or CCTV footage are urged to come forward.

The crash occurred at approximately 3.45pm on Thursday, prompting the prompt response of police and a Welsh Ambulance Service crew.
A spokesperson for Gwent Police has urged witnesses to come forward, stating, “We’re asking for anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or any motorists with dashcam footage, that were using the road between Tredegar and Abertysswg, between 3pm and 4pm to contact us.”
