Former Made In Chelsea star Ollie Locke has expressed his disappointment after discovering that the custom Union Jack Jaguar that became one of his trademarks during the early days of the hit reality show has been left abandoned and falling into disrepair.
The television personality shared his reaction on Instagram after spotting a photo of the distinctive vehicle on a Facebook page dedicated to neglected cars, prompting an emotional trip down memory lane.
Reality TV Relic Resurfaces in Unexpected Place
The striking 1997 Jaguar XK8, wrapped in a bold Union Jack design, became instantly recognisable when Ollie first appeared on Made In Chelsea in 2011.
The car, paired with his equally eye-catching fashion choices, helped establish the flamboyant image that made him one of the programme’s standout personalities.
More than a decade after selling the vehicle, Ollie was surprised to see it featured online sitting abandoned on a driveway.
Reacting to the image, he admitted he was heartbroken to see the car in such poor condition and asked whether anyone knew who now owned it.
While acknowledging that opinions about the patriotic paintwork may have changed over the years, he insisted it was simply part of his personality at the time and represented countless cherished memories.
A Symbol of His Early Television Persona
Looking back on his first years in the spotlight, Ollie has previously admitted that his on-screen character became an exaggerated version of himself.

The nostalgic post comes only weeks after Ollie revealed he and his husband Gareth Locke had left London behind in favour of a quieter life on England’s south coast.
Sharing the news with followers, Ollie described the move as the fulfilment of a childhood dream, saying he was excited to swap city living for a countryside lifestyle where their young twins could grow up surrounded by nature.
He revealed the family had traded Chelsea for chickens, introducing followers to their new rural surroundings while hinting at plans to launch a new business alongside their change of scenery.
Move Follows Financial Difficulties
The relocation came after the couple vacated their luxury Chelsea rental property following a dispute over unpaid rent.
The pair were forced to leave the £4 million townhouse after falling behind on payments, with the outstanding amount increasing once legal costs and additional charges were added.
Ollie has openly acknowledged the emotional impact of the situation, describing the experience as deeply humiliating while insisting he and Gareth remain fully committed to repaying the debt.
Gareth has likewise stressed that they intend to settle everything owed, saying their family has experienced the same financial pressures faced by many households.
IVF Journey Took Emotional and Financial Toll
Ollie has also spoken candidly about the enormous financial sacrifices he and Gareth made while pursuing parenthood.
The couple spent approximately £500,000 on IVF treatment and surrogacy before welcoming twins Apollo and Cosima in July 2023.
According to Ollie, the process lasted four years, complicated by repeated pregnancy losses and delays caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
He revealed they initially expected treatment to cost far less and even sold their previous home to help finance the journey.
Despite the emotional setbacks and mounting expenses, the couple remained determined to become parents.
New Priorities as Parents
Since welcoming their twins, Ollie says the family’s priorities have changed completely.
The children were born prematurely at 31 weeks and continue to require significant care.
Gareth explained that, given the unpredictable nature of both their careers in television and social media, employing a full-time nanny has become essential despite the considerable expense.
