Noor Dubai concludes charity auction ‘Art 4 Sight’ to support anti-blindness programmes
DUBAI, 28th February, 2022 – Noor Dubai Foundation has concluded its charity art auction and exhibition “Art4Sight”, which took place at auction house Sotheby’s.
The event witnessed a great turnout from art lovers and supporters of humanitarian work supporting Noor Dubai’s efforts to combat blindness worldwide.
The auction saw the participation of 14 international and local artists and art enthusiasts.
The auctions collaborated with the auction house Sotheby’s, Crown Fine Arts, and Tashkeel, with the proceeds of their paintings going to support anti-blindness programmes worldwide.
On this occasion, Dr.
Manal Taryam, CEO of Noor Dubai Foundation, said that the charity auction represents a vital opportunity to raise awareness about the foundation’s programmes, reflecting the important humanitarian aspect of artists and art lovers, who spare no effort to support these programmes.
Mai Eldib, Director, Head of Sales for Sotheby’s Middle East & Charity Auctioneer, said that Sotheby’s Dubai is honoured to have lent its support to the Noor Foundation and the vital cause that it supports.
Over the last few days, the exhibition has spotlighted worldwide artists who have donated works to the auction.

Since its launch as an initiative in 2008, Noor Dubai Foundation has conducted programmes in 22 countries worldwide, where it contributed to treating those with eye diseases that cause blindness.
