Niger Delta Digital Summit announces startup seed funding opportunity worth ₦1.8 million to support young tech entrepreneurs across nine Nigerian states

The 2025 Niger Delta Digital Summit is now accepting applications for its Startup Seed Funding—and they’re giving out serious cash to help local startups grow.


₦1.8 Million Up for Grabs

As part of the upcoming summit, organizers are offering a total of ₦1.8 million in seed funding to the top three startups based in the region.

Whether your focus is fintech, agritech, health tech, edtech, e-commerce, or green tech, you’ve got a shot at winning some much-needed capital to scale your idea.


Who Can Apply?

Not just anyone qualifies—you’ll need to tick a few boxes first.

Here’s what they’re looking for:

  • You must be a founder or co-founder of a digital or tech-led startup.

  • Your startup should be based in any of the 9 Niger Delta states: Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo, or Rivers.

  • Your startup must be between 6 months and 5 years old.

  • You need to show clear innovation or positive impact in your industry.


Cash Awards for the Winners

The funding is split among the top three startups as follows:

  • First Place: ₦1,000,000

  • Second Place: ₦500,000

  • Third Place: ₦300,000
