Speaking to the ABS in Awka following the declaration of Professor Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA as the winner of the just concluded governorship election in Anambra State, by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC a Chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance at Nise in Awka South Local Government Area Chief Boniface Egbutu described the outcome of the election as a true reflection of the wish of the Ndi Anambra.
Chief Egbutu who described the governor-elect Professor Soludo as a tested technocrat, expressed optimism that he will bring his wealth of experience in the economic sector to bare in the administration of Anambra State.
Chief Egbutu called on those who contested with the governor elect to see the development of Anambra State as a collective responsibility and join hands with him for enhanced development of Anambra State.
Chief Egbutu commended the Chairman Board of Trustees of APGA Governor Willie Obiano, the National Chairman of the party Dr Victor Oye, as well as Senator Victor Umeh for all their doggedness during the just concluded election.
Another Chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA Chief Osita Ezechukwu described the outcome of the Anambra State governorship election as a clear indication that Anambra State is truly the light of the Nation and extolled the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC for keeping to its promise of conducting a transparent election in Anambra State and called on it to sustain the gains in future elections.
Chief Ezechukwu who is a community leader at Nanka in Orumba North Local Government Area commended all the legacy projects of the Obiano administration in Anambra State especially the Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport, the International Convention center in Awka, the operation lights up Anambra project among others and expressed the hope that the governor elect Professor Soludo will continue with all the legacy projects of Governor Willie Obiano and APGA in Anambra State
