Matt LeBlanc was recently spotted enjoying a rare public outing alongside his daughter, Marina, during a casual trip through the Woodland Hills area of Los Angeles.
The actor, best known for portraying Joey Tribbiani on the hit sitcom Friends, was seen spending quality time with his 22-year-old daughter as they walked through a busy parking lot before continuing with their day.
The appearance marked one of the few occasions the father and daughter have been photographed together in public, offering fans a glimpse into the close family bond LeBlanc has often spoken about over the years.

LeBlanc, 58, opted for a relaxed look suitable for the daytime outing.
He wore dark blue jeans paired with a short-sleeved black shirt, completing the outfit with comfortable sneakers and a black baseball cap.
Marina also embraced a laid-back style, choosing patterned red trousers, a simple shirt and white sneakers.
She accessorized with a dark red leather shoulder bag while carrying a bottle of water as the pair made their way through the neighborhood.

Marina is LeBlanc’s only child, whom he shares with his former wife, Melissa McKnight.
The couple married in 2003 before separating three years later.

He explained that he stepped away from much of Hollywood, choosing instead to devote his attention to caring for his young daughter.
Looking back on that chapter, LeBlanc admitted it was a deeply challenging time and said he deliberately avoided pursuing acting opportunities, even asking his representatives not to contact him with work while he focused on his family.

Although LeBlanc became internationally famous through his role as Joey Tribbiani on Friends, he has revealed that his daughter never viewed the sitcom with the same excitement as millions of fans.

However, he later explained that her interest had gradually grown. Speaking with Express U.K. in 2018, LeBlanc shared that they occasionally stop to watch episodes whenever they appear on television while channel surfing.

The family outing comes only weeks after LeBlanc publicly honored legendary television director James Burrows, who died on June 19 at the age of 85.
Burrows directed numerous episodes of Friends during its celebrated run and also left an enduring mark on television through acclaimed productions including Frasier, Taxi, Will & Grace, and as co-creator of the classic sitcom Cheers.

Following Burrows’ death, LeBlanc shared an emotional tribute on Instagram, praising the director’s extraordinary influence on generations of actors and television creators.
In his message, the actor wrote that words could not adequately express Burrows’ impact on those fortunate enough to have worked with him, describing the late director as “a true icon” and wishing him well in “his next act.”
