Marco Pierre White Jr faces nearly four years in prison as judge condemns his drug-fuelled crime rampage across Chelsea Notting Hill and Pimlico

It’s been a long and troubled road for Marco Pierre White Jr, the son of renowned chef Marco Pierre White.

Once known for his wild antics on Celebrity Big Brother, the 30-year-old has now found himself behind bars — this time for a series of late-night burglaries and shoplifting sprees that caused tens of thousands of pounds in damage.

According to court documents, White Jr’s crime wave was fuelled by his drug addiction and left a trail of chaos across London, targeting small independent shops filled with high-value items.

A String of Break-Ins Across London

The spree began on June 12, when White Jr broke into La Piccola Deli in Chelsea, stealing a laptop, tablet, iPod, and a till tray.

Just three days later, he struck again — this time at Venusrox, a luxury crystal store in Notting Hill, where he smashed his way inside and took two natural rock crystal formations.

His most destructive act came on June 19 at Dale Rogers Ammonite, a high-end gallery on Pimlico Road known as “London’s home of rare fossils and exquisite crystals.”

White Jr caused an estimated £44,000 worth of damage there, destroying mounted crystals and the shop’s front door before fleeing with two green fluorite crystal lamp towers.

Shop owners described the incident as “devastating, both personally and to the business.”

The Night Rider Thief

In a bizarre pattern, the court heard how White Jr would travel to each location on a Lime bike — cycling between late-night burglaries and fleeing with whatever valuable items he could carry.

He wasn’t new to crime either. Records revealed he had 30 previous convictions for 69 offences.

During this spree, he was already under two suspended sentences for other thefts, making his latest string of crimes even more serious in the eyes of the court.

From Charity Shops to Luxury Stores

His thefts weren’t confined to London. The spree actually started months earlier in Bath, where he triggered alarms at multiple businesses.

On April 1, police were called to Clayton’s Kitchens after a break-in left shattered glass and blood, though nothing was stolen.

The next morning, White Jr struck again — this time at Mercy in Action, a local charity shop, where more than £500 was taken.

He was later seen wearing stolen clothing and eventually pleaded guilty to the crime.

By mid-June, his targets escalated. On June 18, he walked into Waterstones in Chiswick and made off with nearly £500 worth of Jellycat toys.

Later that same day, he entered an Aesop store on Westbourne Grove, filled his bag with high-end products, and threatened a staff member who confronted him, warning, “Don’t come near me or I’ll hurt you.”

He escaped with £1,331 worth of goods — again, on a Lime bike.

The Arrest That Finally Ended It All

White Jr’s final break-in came on June 21, when he used a brick to smash his way into Presents on Barnes High Street.

He stole around £1,500 worth of Jellycats before ordering an Uber.

But this time, his luck ran out — the driver grew suspicious and alerted police.

A dog unit tracked him down, recovering the stolen toys and matching his DNA to traces of blood left at almost every previous scene.

Courtroom Chaos and Sentencing

Appearing via video link from HMP Wandsworth, White Jr — bearded, with long braids and wearing a red T-shirt — faced Judge Edward Connell at Isleworth Crown Court.

Strikingly, he failed to return to the video room after the judge left to consider his sentence.

Judge Connell described White’s crime spree as a “campaign of dishonesty” and condemned his “persistent non-compliance” with previous court orders.

“All of the offences are aggravated by the defendant’s appalling record for dishonesty,” the judge said.

“In my view, he is quite aptly described as a prolific offender.”

White Jr had admitted to four counts of burglary, criminal damage, and several theft charges.

A Sentence Reflecting a Troubled Pattern

For his long list of offences, White Jr was sentenced to three years and ten months in prison.

The judge noted that the defendant had repeatedly breached two suspended sentence orders — one of which had been imposed less than a year earlier for similar burglaries.

While his father built a name in the culinary world, Marco Pierre White Jr’s reputation has become synonymous with scandal, addiction, and self-destruction — and this latest sentence marks another dark chapter in a life that once seemed full of promise.
