Love Island spoiler: Gemma Owen and Lucas Bish’s fight may have something to do with Jacques O’Neil

Love Island appears to be getting a boost on Tuesday night, with a teaser hinting at trouble in paradise between Gemma Owen and Luca Bish.

The couple has been together since the previous recoupling, when fisherman Luca stole Michael Owen’s kid from Italian stallion Davide Sanclimenti.

However, based on the spoiler trailer for tomorrow night’s episode, the couple may already be on the rocks.

‘I am not…,’ Gemma says sharply at Luca, as the camera pans to him sighing and gazing up into the sky.

‘Don’t roll your eyes at me and be a pr*ck,’ Gemma then snaps. ‘It was a genuine mistake, I’m sorry, there’s nothing more to it.’

While the specifics of their lovers’ squabble remain unknown for the time being, Love Island fans are already speculating about what it could be about and some believe Gemma unintentionally called Luca her ex’s name.

For those who are unaware, the international dressage rider was shocked last week when her ex-boyfriend Jacques O’Neill arrived at the resort.

What did Gemma think about Jacques’s arrival? She’s already acknowledged to the girls that she still finds him attractive. ‘I look at him and I think you’re fit, no question, you are fit,’ she said to them.

Fans believe Gemma’s fight with Luca has something to do with Jacques.

‘Putting my money on it now that Gemma calls Luca “Jacques” and that’s why he’s in a mood,’ speculated one.

‘Does anyone else think Gemma called Luca, Jacques by accident??’ another asked.

Only time will tell what sparked the couple’s spat… and whether their romance survives the episode.
