Kelsey Grammer walks through Hyde Park in London with pregnant wife Kayte as the couple prepare to welcome their fourth child together

Kelsey Grammer is proving that it’s never too late to grow your family.

At 70 years old, the iconic Frasier star is preparing to welcome his eighth child—and his fourth with wife Kayte Walsh.

The couple were recently spotted in London, looking relaxed and happy during a family outing, with Kayte visibly in the final stretch of her pregnancy.

A Sweet Stroll and Some Big News

Onlookers saw the pair walking hand in hand through Hyde Park after stopping by a Whole Foods for snacks.

Kayte, 46, wore a flowing black dress that showcased her baby bump, paired with a cardigan and sandals.

Kelsey, meanwhile, looked like he was enjoying every minute of domestic life, pushing the shopping cart and carrying a ball for their kids to play with in the park.

The Spark is Back in Their Marriage

While the couple hasn’t publicly announced this pregnancy, sources say the baby has brought new energy into their relationship.

“Kelsey is thrilled to have this chance to experience fatherhood again,” an insider told DailyMail.com.

“This pregnancy wasn’t exactly planned, but it’s reignited a spark in their marriage. They both feel more connected than ever.”

A Full House of Love

This baby will be the fourth child for Kelsey and Kayte together.

Their current trio includes 12-year-old Faith, 10-year-old Kelsey Gabriel, and 8-year-old Auden James Ellis.

But that’s not the full story—Grammer already has four more children from previous relationships.

There’s Spencer, 41, from his first marriage to Doreen Alderman; Greer, 33, from his relationship with Barrie Buckner; and two children with ex-wife Camille Grammer—Mason Olivia, 23, and Jude Gordon, 20.

He’s Done With “Frasier” and Ready for Family Time

Now that the Frasier revival has been officially cancelled after two seasons, Grammer is stepping away from his most famous character and stepping fully into family life. According to the insider,

“After wrapping Frasier one last time, he’s ready to focus on being present, something he didn’t always have the chance to do with his older kids.”

A Love Story That Started in the Skies

Kelsey and Kayte’s love story began in the most unexpected of places—on a flight to London in 2009.

Kayte, a former flight attendant from Hartlepool, England, met Kelsey while working on that flight. The connection was instant.

“We actually met in the air,” Kelsey shared with Jimmy Kimmel back in 2012.

“We had this magical night walking in the snow around Christmastime in London. It was really something.”

At the time, Kelsey was still legally married to Real Housewives star Camille Meyer.

But just days after his divorce was finalized in February 2011, he and Kayte tied the knot at New York’s iconic Plaza Hotel.

His Fourth Marriage Feels Like a First

Despite having been married three times before, Kelsey described his relationship with Kayte as something brand new.

“[It’s] like it’s never happened before,” he once told People, calling her “fantastic.”

Revisiting Frasier’s Legacy

Grammer’s career skyrocketed when he first stepped into the role of Frasier Crane on Cheers, which was only meant to be a short arc.

But the character became so beloved that he went on to star in Frasier, which ran for 11 seasons and became one of TV’s most awarded sitcoms—racking up 37 Emmys, including five consecutive wins for Best Comedy Series.

The show, which followed Frasier as a radio host in Seattle, also featured beloved characters like his brother Niles (David Hyde Pierce), father Martin (John Mahoney), and Daphne (Jane Leeves).

Looking Ahead to the Next Chapter

With the Frasier chapter now officially closed and another baby on the way, Kelsey Grammer is clearly entering a new season of life—one filled with stroller walks, toddler toys, and perhaps a bit more sleep deprivation than he remembers.

Still, for the seasoned actor, this moment seems like a full-circle gift.

“The beauty of being an older dad is you get a chance to kind of try it again,” he once said in 2018. “That’s been a real gift.”
