In Hackney, east London, part of a three-storey terraced house experienced a collapse, prompting an emergency response.
Emergency services received a call at approximately 12:17pm on Saturday regarding the collapse, which occurred on Gloucester Drive.
Social media videos captured the extent of the damage, showing the entire back of the house sheered away, resulting in bricks and rubble scattered across neighboring gardens.
While most of the roof had collapsed, a steel beam connecting the outer wall to a neighboring property remained intact.
Upon arrival, London Fire Brigade deployed approximately 60 firefighters to the scene.
Fire crews from various fire stations, including Kentish Town, East Ham, Islington, Edmonton, Battersea, and East Ham, were present.
Additionally, five fire engines and three fire rescue units were dispatched to handle the situation.
