Zenicca Llanza, a 24-year-old from the Philippines, shared a video on TikTok that captured the unfortunate incident.
The couple had meticulously planned a romantic beachside proposal, complete with a picturesque setup and a heartfelt gesture, but their plans were derailed by the unwanted actions of another beachgoer.
In the video, Zenicca and her partner strolled along the sandy shore, where a tent adorned with a white tablecloth, an array of cushions, and a beautifully crafted cake caught their attention.
The cake bore the words ‘Will you marry me?’, and a sign in the background echoed the same question.
With the stage set, Zenicca’s boyfriend took the opportunity to kneel down and propose, aiming to make the moment unforgettable.

She deliberately tampered with the setup, moving the sign, and then proceeded to intrude upon the couple’s momentous occasion.
Even before Zenicca had the chance to wear the engagement ring, the woman came closer, attempting to catch a glimpse of the ring, without consideration for the significance of the moment.
Zenicca took to TikTok to share her disappointment, expressing her frustration with the interference in her once-in-a-lifetime event.
She wrote, “How to quickly ruin a proposal… Please be mindful of other people’s once in a lifetime event! You never know you’re already ruining it.”
