Reality TV sensation Nonku Williams teams up with renowned chef Sizo Henna and respected historian and author Zikhona Valela at Blaque Bistro on Friday, May 27 to give food, drink, and a wonderful book.
This trio is creating a luxurious lifestyle experience that will nourish both your body and mind.
The event will be a gathering of brilliant minds, hosted by comedian and actor Linda Majola.
Nonku’s A2B Winery has finally arrived in Johannesburg, and Blaque Bistro is the perfect home for it.
“I am super excited to be launching my wine brand in Joburg, it has been a journey and I can now say I have found the right people to partner with and I look forward to the 27th. Also, a good glass of wine with good food and an even better book to read is just the perfect combination. I strongly believe in collaboration and for Zikhona and Sizo to join forces with A2B Winery is a great honour.” commented the Durban star.
A TRIO LIKE NO OTHER
Blaque Bistro is a black owned restaurant by celebrity chef Sizo Henna, situated in Bryanston.
Sizo studied at London’s prestigious Walthamstow Forest College and has a very simple business concept: “Do a stunning job every time”.
This concept has evidently worked for him because he is very well known and keeps on getting business everywhere from politicians and business people.
Zikhona Valela is a historian and author, she has recently published her first book Now You Know How Mapetla Died: The Story of a Black Consciousness Martyr with Tafelberg Publishers.

She is currently finishing her second manuscript, a short biography of Winnie Madikizela-Mandela which was commissioned by Jacana media.
Zikhona has also recently wrapped filming a campaign with Multichoice Group- a campaign they plan to launch in June 2022.
Known for her history timeline on Twitter, her following has grown, making her a credible voice in historical and cultural commentary.
