After an impressive 25-year run on Emmerdale, actress Samantha Giles, best known for her role as Bernice Blackstock, is bidding farewell to the soap.
She confirmed her exit from the Yorkshire Dales in upcoming episodes of the ITV serial drama.

Samantha Giles, the 52-year-old soap legend, is not saying goodbye to acting just yet. She is set to make her debut as the Wicked Stepmother in an upcoming production of Cinderella.
Her new role kicks off in just a few weeks.
The Final Farewell
Samantha Giles revealed her departure during an appearance on This Morning. Her last episode on Emmerdale is set to air on the 14th of November.
This marks the fourth time she’s chosen to leave the show since she first took on the role of Bernice in 1998.
A Possible Return?
A source commented on Samantha’s frequent departures from Emmerdale, stating that her character’s return has become somewhat of a running joke.
While her future on the show is uncertain, for now, she will be leaving later this year.
