Defense Minister Commissions Key Projects at DIC

As part of the activities planned for the 2022 Annual Conference of Defence Advisers/Attaches by the Defence Intelligence Agency, the Minister of Defence, Major General Bashir Salihi Magashi (Retired), commissioned several vital projects to enhance the quality of education at the college in Karu, Abuja.

The proposal features a hostel of world-class quality, an Auditorium, a standard canteen, a sports complex, and a fire engine.

The Minister stated that the Federal Government believes in empowering its Security Agencies to get the most out of them, urging all other Agencies to explore all avenues within their respective systems to come up with innovative approaches to identifying and addressing the challenges facing our nation.

Earlier in his remarks, the Director of Defense Intelligence, Major General Samuel Abebayo, expressed gratitude to the Minister for his unwavering support of the Agency.

General Magashi, supported by the Chief of Defence Intelligence, Major General Adebayo, the Commandant of the College, Commodore E. A. Zipele, and other senior serving and retired Officers, commissioned all the projects as the highlight of the occasion.
