Daley Thompson, the legendary Olympian, was sent packing from the Celebrity Big Brother house on Friday night, marking his exit as the third housemate to be evicted.
This came after the results of Thursday night’s nomination reveal, where it was announced that both 52-year-old actress Patsy Palmer and 66-year-old Daley would be up for the public vote.

Every day I washed up, I made tea for everybody. I put out all the plates and stuff.”
He felt the nominations were a reflection of his housemates viewing him as a threat, and added, “No, none of them surprised me as they are all rats.”

The news of Daley’s eviction came as a shock to several housemates, especially TOWIE star Ella, 24, who was visibly upset and burst into tears.
Ella explained that her tears were for the others in the house, not for herself.
Daley responded to her emotional outburst, saying, “She’s like a young daughter to me. Some people undermine her in there.”
Despite his frustration with his fellow housemates, Daley clarified that he wasn’t in the game to win, admitting, “No, because it was outside of my control.”
