Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) has made his fair share of blunders on Coronation Street over the years, and he’s determined that Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) won’t make the same mistakes.

Troubled Summer has been suffering from her body difficulties, and as a result, she has taken extraordinary measures to lose weight.

Summer has been tampering with her insulin use while suffering from diabulimia, and others around her have been quite concerned for her safety.

It has caused her to lag behind in her studies, prompting her to attempt to cheat on her tests.

Summer eventually realized that she had to be honest, despite Aadi’s (Adam Hussain) best efforts.

Summer is adamant that she will not attend university in the following scenes, and Todd is appalled by her decision.

He sits her down and tells her she’d be making a major mistake, to which she responds by pointing out that he did the same thing.

He agrees that this is why he is concerned about her safety, but he and Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) are unable to communicate with her.

She puts her foot down and says she isn’t going to change her opinion, as shown in the video.
