Cape Town City reward players in end-of-season glittering ceremony!

Cape Town City have rewarded their players and staff who stood head and shoulders above the rest during the 2021-22 PSL season

The Citizen held the glittering ceremony on Saturday, a few hours after going down 1-0 to provincial rivals Stellenbosch FC.

The two big winners of the night were goalkeeper Hugo Marques and Taariq Fielies who were named Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season respectively.

Cameroon midfielder Brice Ambina was named the Young Player of the Season despite joining City during the Janaury transfer window.

Relebogile Mokhuoane won City’s Citizen award for ticking the right boxes when it comes to representing the ‘club’s values of family and hard work’ as a new player.

Lastly, City chairman John Comitis showed appreciation two of his staff members in Team Manager Moenier Davids and Kit Manager Brent Geyer with chairman’s awards.
