Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz, were spotted enjoying a relaxed outing in Saint-Tropez on Sunday, coming within minutes of crossing paths with his estranged parents, David and Victoria Beckham.
The couple reportedly arrived at a popular ice cream shop shortly after the former footballer and fashion designer had left the area, highlighting the continuing distance between the family members.
Couple Enjoys Relaxed Afternoon After Yacht Stay
Brooklyn and Nicola were seen visiting the well-known Barbarac ice cream parlour after spending time aboard a luxury yacht belonging to Brooklyn’s godfather, Elton John.
The pair are believed to be staying on the musician’s vessel during their visit to the French Riviera.
Keeping their outing casual, Brooklyn wore a fitted white T-shirt with black shorts, while Nicola opted for a micro-mini skirt that revealed her ankle tattoo bearing the name “Elijah,” a biblical name meaning “The Lord is my God.”
After stopping for ice cream, Nicola also visited a nearby Jacquemus boutique before the couple continued their day.
They were accompanied by Elton John’s husband, David Furnish, who joined them for the outing while the music icon remained aboard the yacht.
David and Victoria Continue Separate Holiday Plans
Just minutes before Brooklyn and Nicola arrived in town, David and Victoria Beckham had reportedly departed for lunch with basketball legend Michael Jordan.
The Beckhams have been enjoying their own Mediterranean holiday aboard their reported £16 million yacht, Seven.
Before reaching Saint-Tropez, they spent time cruising around the Balearic Islands alongside their son Romeo, daughter Harper, Cruz, and their respective partners.
Despite vacationing in the same region, Brooklyn has once again remained absent from the family’s traditional summer getaway.
Elton John’s Longstanding Bond With the Beckham Family
Elton John has maintained a close friendship with David and Victoria Beckham for more than three decades, dating back to David’s football career.
The relationship became so close that David often referred to the singer as “Uncle Elton.”
However, during the current holiday, Elton has been spending time with Brooklyn and Nicola, with the younger couple seen chatting and relaxing aboard his yacht.
Their appearance together has attracted attention given the ongoing tensions within the Beckham family.

Brooklyn and Nicola have largely stayed away from Beckham family events since communication between them reportedly broke down following Christmas 2024, the last occasion they were publicly photographed together as a family.

The strained relationship became even more visible in January when Brooklyn reportedly issued a six-page statement distancing himself from his parents and declaring he no longer wished to be associated with “Brand Beckham.”
According to reports, he accused David and Victoria of exerting excessive control over his life, attempting to interfere in his marriage to Nicola Peltz, and creating uncomfortable moments during his wedding celebrations.
Since the disagreement became public, Brooklyn has not publicly marked his parents’ birthdays or other family milestones. He also declined to post a Father’s Day tribute to David this year.
Reports have further claimed that Brooklyn objected to being included in one of David’s Father’s Day social media posts and preferred that his parents cease contacting him directly.
It has also been reported that he blocked both David and Victoria on Instagram before legal representatives requested that any future communication be handled through lawyers, underscoring the depth of the ongoing family divide.
