Breaking: Tata Motors’ New Safari SUV: A Technological Leap Forward

The Indian automotive industry beholds a significant advancement as Tata Motors unveils the new Tata Safari SUV, packed with groundbreaking technological features. Designed to heighten the driving experience, the updated Safari is redefining the concept of luxury and comfort on the roads.

First-in-Segment Digital Instrument Cluster

The standout feature of the new Safari is the fully digital instrument cluster that displays a comprehensive navigation map, marking a first-in-segment innovation. This unique addition is designed to enhance the driver’s convenience by bringing navigation information right to their fingertips.

Revolutionized Dial for Changing Drive Modes

Replacing the older model’s jewelled knob terrain mode selector, the Safari now flaunts a rotary dial with a TFT screen that shows different drive modes. This simplifies the process of adapting the vehicle to various driving conditions, thereby offering a smoother and safer ride.

Upgraded Voice Command Functionality

Aligning with the growing trend of digitalization, Tata Motors has integrated Alexa into the Safari’s voice command functionality. This addition supplements the existing native voice commands, Siri, and Google commands, offering drivers a seamless and hands-free control over various vehicle functions.

Adjustable Powered Tailgate

The new Safari caters to owners of varying statures with a powered tailgate that offers six levels of adjustable opening height. This tailgate can be accessed via a remote key, a dashboard button, or buttons on both the exterior and interior of the tailgate, reflecting Tata Motors’ commitment to user-friendly technology.

Beyond the mentioned features, the new Safari also incorporates Boss Mode for the second-row passenger, six fast charging ports, stadium seats with stepped roof, a third row with AC vents and blower control, and a cooled storage box. These additions contribute to an elevated driving experience, modernizing the iconic Safari model. Further to these, Tata Motors has also introduced Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to its earlier Harrier and Safari models, featuring forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, blind spot detection, and lane departure warning. The addition of an electronic power steering system introduces lane-keep assist, further enhancing the safety features of the vehicles.
