Nollywood actor Bolanle Ninalowo has broken his silence over his impending divorce from wife Bunmi after 16 years of marriage.
In a lengthy and dramatic Instagram post, the actor better known by his stage name Nino B declared the end of his marriage, claiming “irreconcilable differences” as the reason. He described his current situation as tragic yet necessary. The comment section was hidden after he requested anonymity.
Nino wrote an emotional caption about how his children’s decisions would impact him and his family. He continued by saying that he had made every effort to prevent a divorce, but that it was the best option for everyone involved.
Ninalowo did not explain why they broke up, but he said it had made him stronger. He admitted that caring for his physical and emotional health was important to him. The star admitted to cheating on his wife in November 2022, prompting the couple to remarry.
He said that he had cheated on her repeatedly and had to remarry to keep her. Instead of commenting on their divorce, Bunmi, his now-ex-wife, erased her Instagram account.
