Blac Chyna’s mom Tokyo sets up GoFundMe page to cover legal fees

Reality TV star and model Blac Chyna recently lost her legal battle against the Kardashians for defamation which she says resulted in a loss of income and future earnings. The influencer, who shares a 5-year-old daughter named Dream with Rob Kardashian has since vowed to appeal against the court’s judgment but doesn’t have the funds to do so.

Her mother, Tokyo Toni, has however come to the rescue with a GoFundMe page to raise funds for her daughter’s future legal fees.

The controversial mother of Blac Chyna, Tokyo Toni was banned from her daughter’s court proceedings after she started issuing death threats to the Kardashians on her social media pages.

She has found another way to help her daughter who lost her case against the Kardashians after the 12-member jury found the Kardashian-Jenners shouldn’t have to pay damages for the former make-up artist’s loss of income and future earnings.

Tokyo has set up a GoFundMe for fans to contribute to help pay the future legal costs of Chyna’s plan to appeal against the court’s judgment.

The GoFundMe page is titled “Cheering for Chyna” and, by 5 May 2022, had received 43 donations and raised a total of $780 (about R12 000) towards its target of $40 000 (about R620 000), IOL reports.

Chyna also reportedly shared a link to the crowdfunding page on her Instagram Stories which has since expired.

Meanwhile, the Kardashians are all smiles

After the verdict, the Kardashian-Jenner family’s attorney Michael Rhodes told reporters:

“I think the case was very clear cut. The jury got it … I think the judge did a wonderful job of making sure it was a fair trial.

“They (the Kardashian-Jenners) were very pleased, very grateful.”
