Nicholas Ukachukwu, a prominent figure in the business world, has sparked attention with a plea for increased security measures involving military and police personnel during upcoming festivities.

This appeal comes in the aftermath of a violent attack on the convoy of Chief Chris Uba, a political figure in Anambra, which resulted in the tragic loss of two police officers.

The incident occurred at Uga junction, situated in Chief Uba’s hometown, prompting concerns about security in the region.

Ukachukwu’s Concern and Request

In response to the prevailing insecurity, Nicholas Ukachukwu, who recently tied the knot with Miss Universe Nigeria, Mitchel Ihezue, penned separate letters to the heads of security agencies in the state.

In these letters, Ukachukwu emphasized the necessity for heightened security arrangements due to the volatile situation in the area.

Specific Details of the Plea

Detailing his security requirements, Ukachukwu wrote to the Commander of the 302 Artillery Regiment in Onitsha, outlining the specific nature of his request.

He articulated a need for 16 Army security personnel to safeguard his activities in Anambra State and beyond, scheduled to occur between January 6th and 10th, 2024.

The outlined events include a series of engagements: his arrival and inspection of a personal road project in Osumenyi on the 6th, the dedication of a rehabilitated village church funded by his family on the 7th, traditional marriage rites with his wife in her hometown at Akaokwa on the 8th, dedication of another church they constructed on the 9th, and additional activities in the East on the 10th.
