The Hub, which stands as the largest facility of its kind in Sub-Saharan Africa, has been established with the primary objective of overseeing and managing various aspects of the food supply chain. Its functions encompass regulating production, storage, food preservation, distribution, and ultimately working towards stabilizing market prices and minimizing food wastage. This multifaceted initiative is strategically designed to bolster food security within the state.

Under the leadership of Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the construction of this ambitious project is currently in progress.
