On Saturday, March 5, the 52nd Soweto derby since the PSL’s beginning in the 1996/97 season culminated in a 2-1 victory for Kaizer Chiefs at Orlando Stadium.

Reeve Frosler scored the game’s first goal in the 18th minute, giving Kaizer Chiefs a 1-0 half-time lead.

Kwame Peprah equalized for Orlando Pirates in the 54th minute, but Eric Mathoho scored the game-winning goal in the 81st minute to give the Glamour Boys the victory.
