New features are being added to WhatsApp as part of its overhaul. So, what exactly are we discussing?

After the huge success of their Windows desktop app, WhatsApp has released a new version of their program for Mac users.

A new version of WhatsApp for Mac has been released. You can have as many as 8 people on video and 32 on voice in a group call.
WhatsApp’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, of parent company Meta, elaborated.

THE UI DESIGN WILL HAVE A NEW LOOK AND FEEL
There is talk of a change coming to WhatsApp’s user interface (UI), which could make the service unrecognizable to some of its current users.
Young people may have little trouble with the updated WhatsApp design, but older people who are not accustomed to using apps or smartphones may require some time to adjust.
WORK CONTINUES ON THE NEW INTERFACE.
WABetaInfo, an app that tracks WhatsApp’s features, claims that the messaging service is developing a new user interface for its Android version.
Beta users of the Android app can see the updated design in version 2.23.18.18 through the Google Play Beta program. Because of its early stages of development, not all beta testers have access to the new interface.

WILL THE NEW FEATURES MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS?
It appears that the app’s menu bar is placed towards the footer. Meta may be trying to bring WhatsApp up to speed with Google’s newest Material Design 3 standards with this overhaul.
