The United States has carried out another wave of military strikes against Iran, according to U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM).

The operation, completed at approximately 9:40 p.m. Eastern Time, marked the sixth straight night of U.S. attacks targeting Iranian military infrastructure.

CENTCOM said the latest mission forms part of an ongoing campaign aimed at reducing Iran’s military capabilities following recent incidents involving commercial shipping in the region.

Multiple Military Assets Used in Coordinated Attack

The operation involved a combination of U.S. military platforms, including fighter aircraft, aerial drones, and naval warships. CENTCOM stated that precision-guided munitions were used to strike a wide range of military objectives across Iran.

According to the military, the coordinated attack targeted dozens of sites considered important to Iran’s defense and operational capabilities.

Key Military Infrastructure Reportedly Hit

Among the facilities struck were coastal surveillance installations, air defense positions, military logistics infrastructure, and maritime assets, CENTCOM said.

U.S. officials described the targets as military-related and said the strikes were designed to weaken Iran’s ability to conduct operations and support its armed forces.

No information was immediately released regarding casualty figures or the extent of the damage caused by the strikes.

Campaign Linked to Maritime Security

CENTCOM said the military action was carried out under the direction of the Commander in Chief as part of efforts to hold Iran accountable for what U.S. officials describe as recent attacks on commercial shipping.

The command added that the ongoing campaign is intended to further degrade Iranian military capabilities while reinforcing regional security.

U.S. Forces Remain on High Alert

CENTCOM noted that more than 50,000 U.S. service members are currently deployed across the Middle East.

The command said American forces remain prepared to respond to evolving security threats, describing them as vigilant, combat-ready, and capable of carrying out additional operations if required.

The latest strikes come amid heightened tensions in the region as the United States continues military operations targeting Iranian military infrastructure.
