Following a shooting at an Austin shopping centre, two people have died and numerous more have been injured.
According to reports, the shooter has been apprehended and the area is still under lockdown.

Just after 5 o’clock, police were called to the location.
Several individuals have been hurt and two people have died as a result of a shooting at a Texas shopping centre.
The Arboretum in north Austin, Texas, was the scene of the shooting, and the surrounding neighbourhood is still under lockdown.

Two people were declared dead at the spot, and one adult was taken to the hospital with serious, perhaps fatal wounds.
Soon after 5 o’clock, the Austin Police Department was summoned to the 10000 block of Research Boulevard service road after shots were fired at the mall.
Over 30 rescue cars and a chopper are reportedly present at the location of the active shooting.
APD officers are responding to an incident in the 10000 block of Research Blvd., police said in a statement this evening.
Please stay away from the area and heed the police officers’ instructions.
