Tom Homan Condemns Intelligence Leak That Sabotaged Federal Immigration Raid Targeting Tren de Aragua Gang in Aurora Colorado

What was supposed to be a large-scale crackdown on the Tren de Aragua (TdA) gang in Colorado took an unexpected turn this week, leaving officials frustrated and questioning how their plans were compromised.

The highly coordinated raid, involving multiple federal agencies, was meant to dismantle illegal migrant networks and gang activity.

Instead, authorities were left scrambling for answers after a suspected intelligence leak gave criminals a head start.

Border Czar Tom Homan Speaks Out

Tom Homan, the outspoken Border Czar, didn’t hold back his frustration over the situation.

After learning that crucial details of the operation had been leaked, he vowed swift action against those responsible.

“We’ve already identified how this operation got leaked,” Homan said in a fiery interview on Fox News.

“I’ll deal with that today. It’s not a game.”

His message was clear—whoever compromised the mission could soon face serious consequences, including legal action.

Homan is now working closely with the Department of Justice to investigate the leak and prevent similar breaches in the future.

The Raid That Didn’t Go as Planned

Early Wednesday morning, hundreds of federal agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the FBI, Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) descended on multiple locations in Aurora, Colorado.

Their target: suspected TdA gang members hiding among illegal migrants.

Despite the extensive effort, the results fell far short of expectations.

Authorities had anticipated making over 100 arrests.

Instead, only 30 suspects were taken into custody, with just one confirmed TdA member among them.

ICE’s acting director, Caleb Vitello, admitted the raid had been compromised.

“I do get the impression that there were some intel leaks here,” he said. “I think they knew we were coming.”

Gang Members Spotted on Rooftops

Exclusive footage from DailyMail.com captured the chaotic moments as agents moved in.

Several suspected TdA members were seen scrambling onto the rooftop of Whispering Pines Apartments, a notorious gang hotspot.

In the past, videos have surfaced of TdA members openly carrying firearms and intimidating residents in the area.

Wednesday’s raid also targeted two other locations in Aurora—the Jewel and Cedar Run apartment complexes—both known to be overrun by TdA members.

Trump’s Crackdown on TdA

The federal government has ramped up efforts to dismantle the TdA gang since Donald Trump took office.

According to Fox News, approximately 194 TdA members have been arrested so far.

During a campaign rally in Aurora last year, Trump promised to eliminate the gang, and federal agencies have wasted no time acting on that pledge.

Homan emphasized that immigration enforcement remains a top priority.

“The American people gave President Trump a mandate—border security and immigration enforcement are number one, and we’re going to keep that promise.”

Homan also pointed to ICE’s broader efforts, revealing that nearly 12,000 individuals have been arrested, most of whom pose significant public safety threats.

What’s Next for Captured TdA Members?

With the raids exposing deeper security vulnerabilities, federal agencies are doubling down on efforts to prevent future leaks and strengthen operations.

Meanwhile, authorities have begun deporting TdA members and other dangerous foreign criminals to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

As investigations into the intelligence leak continue, Homan remains determined to hold those responsible accountable.

For now, law enforcement agencies are regrouping, ensuring that the next raid delivers the results they originally planned for.
