Josh Seiter of The Bachelorette has announced that he is ‘alive and well’, a day after posting a statement on Instagram announcing his passing.

The 36-year-old star posted a video on his page on Tuesday and wrote: “Hey guys, as you can see, I am alive and well, my account was hacked, and for the last 24 hours I have been trying desperately to get into it.” He said that his account had been compromised.Someone wrote that post as a cruel joke, ridiculing my mental condition, my battles with depression, and my attempts at suicide. I apologize for the suffering this caused.

I immediately logged back into my account, and my staff and I are going to do everything we can to attempt to figure out who is responsible. I’m sorry for the uncertainty once more, and I’ll keep you folks informed when new information becomes available. The bogus statement, which claimed to be from Seiter’s family, was put on his Instagram on Monday.

“We share the tragic news of Joshua’s unexpected passing with a heavy heart,” it read. Joshua was an exceptionally brilliant light in an increasingly dark world, as everyone who knew him can confirm. His outspoken personality and unwavering spirit, it continued, “helped thousands of people in their darkest moments feel just a little less alone.”Even though we are utterly devastated by Joshua’s departure, we take solace in the knowledge that he is now at peace. In 2015, Seiter was on the ABC series with Kaitlyn Bristowe as the main character, however she was fired during the first episode. On August 14, 1987, Seiter was born in Chicago, Illinois.

He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor’s degree before attending Chicago-Kent College of Law to acquire his law degree.Seiter had been open with his 456K Instagram followers about dealing with mental health concerns. His final post on Thursday read, “Surviving depression and anxiety one day at a time with a smile.”‘I’m Josh Seiter, and I’ve survived a suicide attempt,’ Seiter said in a post from July 2021 that he had pinned to the top of his profile. I struggle with GAD (generalized anxiety disorder), OCD, and bipolar depression, but I don’t give up.

What managed to survive? In a reflective post on the social media platform on July 22, Seiter discussed the problems that concerned him and said that he had struggled with “feelings of worthlessness on a daily basis.” Some of my biggest insecurities center around getting other people’s acceptance,” he admitted. You see, I am a people-pleaser at heart. I am always attempting to get other people’s favor.

He made assumptions about the underlying reasons for his feelings, mentioning his upbringing and homeschooling while adding that he “didn’t have many friends” as a child. The “Why” doesn’t important as much as the “How,” he declared. How are we going to quit basing our sense of value on other people’s acceptance?Only when I was upfront and honest with the world about my battles with mental illness did I find the answer to that question. It does improve.Seiter had sent a polite and encouraging letter to persons who were having mental health problems two days previously.I want to let everybody who is currently going through difficulty know that they are admired. I’m happy to see that you put on your socks,’ he wrote.

“I’m happy that you tied your shoes. When leaving the house seems like an impossible feat in an endless Sisyphean struggle, I’m proud of you for making the effort.I want you to know that things do improve. I am aware because I have experience. I want you to know how important you are.

Your life is important.Seiter made news two months ago when he admitted to being bisexual to Instinct Magazine.Since I’m making this revelation during Pride Month, I believe the timing of me coming out as bisexual is quite providential,’ Seiter told the magazine, saying that he had a Catholic background. In contrast to some people, I became aware of my bisexuality much later in life.In retrospect, he continued, “I can see with clarity that I’ve been acutely aware of my bisexuality and attraction to men and women since at least college.

‘Last month, he announced on Pride that he will be’starring in a series of pornographic films’ after establishing an Only Fans account. The most freeing experience of his life, coming out, he continued, “has provided me with a wealth of opportunities to advance in my life.” I couldn’t be more thrilled for the future, and this is only one rung on the ladder of the bisexual experience I aim to climb.Text “STRENGTH” to the Crisis Text Line at 741-741 if you or someone you know needs mental health support.
