In a heart-stopping incident, a 12-year-old schoolboy was knocked to the ground by a car on Cambridge Street in Coventry.

The harrowing incident occurred as the boy was crossing the road. A red car suddenly swerved around the corner, striking the child and knocking him to the ground.

Almost unbelievably, a second car followed suit, careening into a parked black vehicle dangerously close to the boy.
Miraculously, the child narrowly escaped a second collision, with the second car missing him “by inches.”
Paramedics Called to the Scene

Fortunately, their evaluation revealed that he had escaped serious injury, much to the relief of his father.
A Fractured Ankle
Despite avoiding more severe harm, the boy’s ordeal left him with injuries. In the days following the accident, he began experiencing leg pain, prompting a visit to the GP.
The diagnosis was a fractured ankle, and he has been wearing a protective boot since the incident on August 30.
