Somizi mocks marriage to Mohale: ‘It was just a rehearsal’

South African media personality and reality TV star Somizi Mhlongo is known for his over the top personality and his uncanny way of saying whatever comes to mind. This is why it comes as no shock to many that he is completely unpacking his marriage to Mohale Motaung on his TV show ‘Living the dream With Somizi’.

His latest comments about his marriage to his now estranged husband is as shady as we all expected and reveals a lot about his future plans.

Somizi says his marriage to Mohale was just a rehearsal

Somizi’s divorce from Mohale will go down in South Africa’s history as one of the most high-profile celeb divorces in the country.

This is because the split was rather public and a number of emotional and physical abuse was levelled against Somizi who was always considered a happy go lucky media personality.

While he suffered a big blow to his career after Mohale made the accusations against him, he has made a big comeback and has now started joking about their failed marriage.

In a recent episode of Living The Dream With Somizi, the Idols SA judge mocked his marriage to Mohale. According to him, the marriage was just a rehearsal and he is definitely going for a few more rounds.

“I am gonna get married three times. The first one was a rehearsal, this is a sound check, and the third one is a performance supplement,” he said according to a Zalebs article.

Meanwhile, it appears that the star has already found husband number two and left tongues wagging when he shared a snap of himself wearing an engagement ring in April this year.

The news was met with excitement from most of his fans but not everyone was happy that he is opening himself up to more relationship woes by dating someone so much younger than him.

A lot of people also encouraged him to sign a prenup as he is currently facing an asset battle with Mohale.
