Security Cameras Tampered As Florida Woman Ana Knezevich Goes Missing in Enigmatic Madrid Incident

Ana Knezevich, originally from Colombia, has gone missing in Madrid under mysterious circumstances, leaving her family deeply concerned.

The unsettling incident occurred on February 5, during what has been described as a challenging divorce for the 40-year-old woman.

Ana’s brother, Felipe Henao, revealed that her husband, David, is believed to be in Serbia, his native country.

Alarming Sequence of Events

Ana’s disappearance took a distressing turn when her family received suspicious text messages in Spanish from her phone.

These messages, as translated by Henao, seemed unnatural and uncharacteristic of Ana’s communication style.

According to the texts, Ana claimed to have met someone with a house two hours from Madrid and intended to spend a few days there.

She also mentioned the lack of phone service in that area but assured her family she would be in touch upon her return.

Concerns Over Surveillance Tampering

Upon investigating the place where Ana had been staying, her family discovered that the security cameras had been blacked out with spray paint the night before her disappearance.

A man in a helmet was reportedly seen engaging in this suspicious activity, raising questions about the circumstances surrounding Ana’s vanishing act.

Family Suspicions and Husband’s Whereabouts

Ana’s husband, David, is currently believed to be in Serbia.

Neighbors in Fort Lauderdale, where Ana and her husband resided, noted David’s particular attention to the security cameras in their home.

Henao expressed concern not only about the unsettling events leading to Ana’s disappearance but also about the adequacy of the authorities in Madrid to handle the case.

International Collaboration and Brother’s Plea

Henao highlighted the lack of English-speaking detectives in the Madrid police force, emphasizing the need for collaboration between the United States and Spanish law enforcement.

He urged greater efforts to locate Ana, stressing, “This is an American citizen that is missing abroad. And I just want my sister back.”
