Venture capital firm Benchmark is seeking to raise a combined $352 million across two founders’ funds, according to regulatory filings submitted to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The San Francisco- and Woodside, California-based firm disclosed the fundraising plans in two separate forms filed with the regulator.

The documents identify the funds and list six individuals associated with the filings.

The regulatory forms name Jake Altman, Peter Fenton, An-Yen Hu, Chetan Puttagunta, Everett Randle and Eric Vishria.

The filings provide details of Benchmark’s fundraising activity through the two founders’ funds, with the combined target amount standing at $352 million.

Benchmark Focuses on Early-Stage Investments

Benchmark specialises in early-stage venture capital investments across several sectors, including consumer businesses, marketplaces, open-source technology, artificial intelligence, infrastructure and enterprise software.

The firm invests in companies operating across these areas, with a focus on businesses at the early stages of their development.

Previous Fundraising Announcements in 2026

In June 2026, Benchmark announced two additional funds: a $1.25 billion growth fund and a $750 million early-stage fund.

The announcements covered separate investment vehicles targeting growth-stage and early-stage opportunities, alongside the $352 million now being raised across the two founders’ funds.
